I offer small classes or 1-1 sessions to adults in my garden studio in Aldringham, Suffolk. The studio is set deep in my cottage garden.

 

The classes are designed to take students on a journey through pottery techniques, starting with slab building and coiling and then using projects to master techniques and exploring your interests and developing skills. They are suitable for the absolute beginner or those with experience.

I predominantly work in Stoneware which is fired at a high temperature giving the final work more resistance to chips and breaks. 

 

Blocks of 4 week classes costs £135 which covers all materials and small to medium project pieces. LClasses are for a maximum of 4 students and the 4 consecutive weeks can be extended to 5 to allow flexibility for personal circumstances. 

 

I also offer some 1-1 sessions at a cost of £45 per hour weekdays  or £50 per hour evenings and weekends. I can also teach 2-4 people at a cost of £40 each for up to 4 people (minimum of 2 hrs.) These sessions offer the opportunity to try hand building and using the wheel.

I also have a mobile pottery wheel and can teach under 18s away from my studio.
